At DHFL General Insurance Ltd you should be able to file a claim easily and without hassle.

To register a claim for Group Health Indemnity, Group Critical Illness, and/or Group Personal Accident, you can follow the processes as below:

  • Group Critical Illness or Personal Accident
    Please call our call centre at 1800 123 0004 or email us at mycare@dhflinsurance.com with the following information:

    - Policy Number
    - Name of the insured
    - Date & Place of Occurrence of Critical Illness/Accident
    - Details of Critical Illness/Accident

  • Standard Fire & Standard Perils Policy
    Step 1: Claim Registration

    Notify or submit a claim by following way;

    • Making a call on Toll Free No. 1800 123 0004 OR
    • By sending an E Mail to mycare@dhflinsurance.com

    Step 2: Documentation

    Below is general list of documents. Depending upon the nature & circumstances of the loss, additional documents may be called.

    1. Duly completed claim form signed by insured.
    2. First Information Report (FIR) & Final Police Report; if filed
    3. Fire Brigade Report; if filed
    4. Photographs if taken by insured
    5. Detailed inventory of loss with amount / Repair estimate
    6. Original Repair & Replacement Bills
    7. Policy copy
    8. KYC documents (Address Proof as per policy & ID proof) if claim amount exceeds Rs. 1 lakh.
    9. Any other document that supports the occurrence of the event

    Step 3: Survey and Claim Settlement

    1. After receipt of claim notification, claim handler will contact you within 4 hours and appoint surveyor immediately to assess the loss.
    2. Surveyor will visit the place of loss within 1 working day but not later than 2 working day. Surveyor will assess the loss and collect all necessary documents from you.
    3. After completion of repairs, submit original repair invoice & payment receipt to us or to the surveyor.
    4. Our liability under claim will be released to you / financer within 7 working days after receipt of all claim document.
